Schuÿler Edgar Holmes Costume Designer ~ Stitcher ~ Dresser
As a costume designer, I take a dramaturgical approach to my work; rooting creative decisions in historical and cultural research. I have a particular love for costuming historical fantasy and playing with how gender can be represented in fictional worlds.
When building costumes, I utilise my years of sewing knowledge as well as my experience working with varieties of foam, paint, and craft materials to create unique clothing pieces and accessories. I enjoy working with my hands and delight in bringing a designer's vision to life.
